Caselink


Caselink is the new Client Management Information System developed by ICONI Software Ltd for the Jobs Strategy in Edinburgh. It gives local employability providers the facility to case manage, report on their client base and make referrals to other organisations. By holding information about clients of a number of organisations it will assist the Jobs Strategy Group see who is being supported by which organisations and allow reporting of outcomes across the city.

Caselink launched in April 2009 and is currently being used by a group of early adopting organisations.

The functions which are available to all Caselink users include:

  1. Registration onto Caselink through the collation of basic client details.  Simple data entry methods include tick boxes, drop down lists and automated date definition.
  2. Client assessment including the ability to collect provider-specific data such as alcohol and drug dependency and a tool to measure distance travelled.
  3. Record services delivered to clients which incorporate case note entry, time spent on activities, reminders for follow-up activity and the ability to generate an Action Plan linked to service delivery.
  4. Record outcomes and qualifications that a client has achieved.
  5. Make client referrals to other providers using Caselink and deliver services alongside another provider to provide the best outcome for the client.
  6. Create lists of all clients, filtered by multiple criterion including assessments, outcomes, referrals, date period and caseworker. This enables providers to monitor individual and provider caseload and to review service delivery.
  7. Full reporting software including bar charts, pie charts, one-touch funders’ reports through standardised templates and comparison reporting.
