Making it Work
Making it Work Edinburgh is funded by the Big Lottery, Investing in Communities Programme. The project aims to support lone parents whose youngest child is under 5 years old progress towards education, training or employment. Working in partnership, the service brings together the experience of family and employability agencies to make a difference for vulnerable lone parents. Making it Work has a network of Development Workers who deliver a key worker support role that is accessible, flexible and family friendly. The project offers a distinctive service and benefit to lone parents, supplementing the integrated employability skills pipeline. Capital City Partnership is the lead partner supported by Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations Council, One Parent Families Scotland and City of Edinburgh Council, City Strategy and Economy.
