Our Central Construction business are looking for 2 x Apprentice Administrators to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

 

The aim of the role is to provide administration support to the management team. The post holder will be expected to work towards the completion of NVQ 2 or 3 in Business Administration.

 

Responsibilities

- Receive and distribute all incoming mail. Prepare and post all outgoing mail on daily basis

- Reception duties - making sure the phones are being answered in an excellent manner

- File correspondence and set up new files accordingly

- Assistance with any office related files e.g. Health and Safety, Fire safety.

- Liaising with external suppliers and clients

- Monitor and order office supplies and stationery

- Filing / photocopying as required

- Assist with meetings set up and arranging refreshments

Represent the company in the best possible way, be courteous and professional working to the highest ethical standards at all times.

Ad hoc duties assigned by your line manager in connection with operational requirements ensuring works are completed within required time frames.

 

Qualifications

In order to be eligible for the Modem Apprenticeship Programme, applicants must be aged between 16 to 19 years old.

Good level of education achieved to Standard Grade level including Maths and English

Previous administration experience would be a distinct advantage

Good IT skills

Commitment to the training agreement

Excellent communication skills

Punctual and reliable

Helpful and approachable by nature

Positive approach to work

The ability to work well as part of a team
