Cash Back Change Cycle - Venture Trust

12 March 2018

The Cashback Change Cycle programme supports young people aged 16 to 24 who are not in work, education or training and facing long term unemployment and disadvantage. Participants are supported to identify goals and aspirations and to develop motivation and self-confidence, whilst developing key employability skills.

The 3 week programme involves:

  • Bike construction and includes hands on workshop experience (subcontracted to Bike Station Edinburgh)
  • Employability sessions
  • Attendance on a short wilderness based residential experience to consolidate participants' goals and action plans
  • Qualifications - including Tech Bronze/City & Guilds, iHASCO online health & safety and First Aid
  • One-to-one support, mentoring and coaching is ongoing throughout the 3 weeks and on completion participants will be able to keep the bike they have worked on throughout the programme.

Next programme starts Monday 12 March.
