Great opportunity for people aged 18 or over who are unemployed,
not in education or on the Work Programme, are living in Edinburgh
and interested in get a job in the Customer Service.
Delivered through Skills Development Scotland Employability
Fund. Cyrenians Market Led Training are delighted to announce a
Customer Service course aimed at giving participants the knowledge,
skills and confidence to pursue a career within customer service -
a sector of growth within Edinburgh.
The course consists of seven days of training followed by a
two-week placement with an interview at the end. We will cover a
range of skills including customer service, communication skills,
visual merchandising, successful selling, team-work, personal
effectiveness and professionalism. The course also includes REHIS
Elementary Food Hygiene which is a certified, industry recognised
qualification. The course is open to people living in Edinburgh who
are unemployed, not in education and are looking to develop a
career in Customer Service. The course will also cover effective
communication skills and personal effectiveness as well as
employability skills such as CV development, interview skills and
completing application forms.
The course is well established, employers recognise and trust
the learning graduates take from the course and we have an
excellent record of previous graduates moving into employment
directly from the course.
It is a seven-day course, delivered at The Recruitment and
Skills Centre at Fort Kinnaird, followed by a two week work
placement, with a recruiting employer, and an interview. Course
dates: Monday 18th - Wednesday 27th September
