Get DigitAll CISCO IT Essentials Course

The Course, Our last course in Cisco IT Essentials for young people 16-25, will start in January.

Do you work with a young person who might be interested in learning the technical basics about computing? Are they considering studying computing but not quite ready for college?This course can help them decide if this is the future for them.

Build a computer then learn how it works including hardware, software, security, networking and troubleshooting. While covering practical, hands-on work this course also covers theory and requires a commitment to self study as well as classroom support.

Combining training, support and work experience, it will help get jobs in roles like IT helpdesk support and IT support technician or gain college entry learners will gain an industry recognised CISCO IT Essentials certificate (SCQF Level 6). Includes work placement opportunity and helps launch a career in IT.

All travel paid for. Delivered at Castlebrae Business Centre over 12 weeks.

Next course starts on 16th January 2018. Course entry is by an assessment and these will take place 8th-12 January.

Eligibility Young people aged 16-25, who are not in work and can demonstrate an interest in computers, are in a position to focus on learning and live in Edinburgh City.
