Healthy Minds - Joined up for Integration Event

The aim of this event is to bring together employability
providers from all localities to network with key projects and
services who support people with mental health conditions in a
variety of ways.

This workshop is fully funded by the Joined up for Integration
Project and lunch and refreshments will be provided.

*SafeTALK Training information
To enable participants to recognise persons with thoughts of
suicide and to connect them to suicide intervention resources.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Increase their awareness that opportunities to help people with
thoughts of suicide are sometimes missed, dismissed or avoided
- Learn how to recognise when a person might be having thoughts
- Increase their confidence in talking to a person with thoughts
of suicide in a clear and helpful way
- Learn how to provide practical help to persons with thoughts of
suicide and connect them to community resources.
Anyone who comes into contact with people aged 15 and over.
Please note that it may not be advisable for someone to attend
SafeTALK who has recently been seriously affected by suicide, in
whatever way. If you would like to talk this through with the
facilitator, either for yourself or a member of your team, please
