New 'Moving On' Course

Move On are recruiting Volunteers for our new Moving On course!

We are currently recruiting for our Moving on Programme and are looking for young people aged 16 - 19 years old who are unsure of what they want to do with their future or 16 - 29 year olds who have been affected by homelessness or have been looked after and accommodated.

The course is SQA-accredited and offers participants the opportunity to gain both an SCQF level 3 in Core Skills and a Level 3/4 in personal development award.

The moving on course will be running over 6 weeks(with a break over Christmas) starting on Monday 4th December and ending on Thursday 25th January. When the 6 week training is completed the young person has 2 options, continue on as a Peer Educator (delivering workshops to School/agencies in Edinburgh) and work towards their P.D.A, or to be supported into an alternative volunteering/employment or Training opportunities.

  • Lunch and Travel costs are provided.
