REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Course

A one day course for anyone working in catering or in the
provision of meals. The course outlines good practice for food
handlers to implement in the work place.
Free if you apply for ITA funding.
The course is a nationally recognised qualification accredited
by the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland
Participants will be issued a certificate on successful
completion of the test.
The course covers:
- Basic bacteria
- Food poisoning
- Personal hygiene
- Working environment
- Cleaning practices
- Pest control
- Basic legislation
A light lunch will be provided and there will also be two coffee
breaks throughout the day.
The course is offered monthly. Upcoming dates: 30 July
and 31 August.
