The Challenge Fund

The City of Edinburgh Council (Employability, Talent and Development) Challenge Fund

The Challenge Fund is the City of Edinburgh Council's channel for allocating grant funding to the third sector.  The Challenge Fund fits around the core Strategic Skills Pipeline contracts, addressing specific barrier removal and responding to niche needs.

Currently, it funds 27 projects up to £75,000 pa for 3 years.  The currnet programme of funding is due to end in March 2019.

The Challenge Fund is now entering a review in 2017 for a new call on proposals, which will be overseen by a Challenge Fund Reference Group.

The Review will include co-production with the JUFJ partnership.

Any new announcements or opportunities will be made on this page, but it is anticpated the new fund will be open for bids from June 2018.
