Specialist Advice Services
An Action Plan should help to identify any circumstances or problems which may make it difficult to take up employment. Examples include the need for childcare; insecure housing or homelessness; a disability which may require adaptations at work; mental ill-health; debt; a serious criminal record; and addiction problems.
Many employability organisations and programmes can provide advice and support with these issues – this is recorded on the Directory under Specialist Advice.
